The BKR0701 is a cloning cable adapter to use along with the KAA0700 or KAA0701 to clone the BKR5000 to other models of BK radios.

will the bkr0701 work with the KAA0710 for programming?

The BKR0701 can be used with a USB cable to connect the BKR handheld radio to a computer for programming, given the correct drivers will need to be installed to recognise the USB cable. If you are adding the BKR0701 to a KAA0701 Universal Cloning cable then it would be used to clone the radio from another bk radio.
