Great External Mic! Review by Valentijn
How would you rate this product? I have used this mic while being out as a field observer on wildfires, as well as during many prescribed burns. I like not having to worry about damaging this rugged microphone, while being able to protect the radio in my pack. The speaker produces a clear sound and the coiled wire is long enough to reach over the shoulder. (Posted on 9/26/2017)

Best Speaker Mic for the $$$ Review by Ethan Reynolds
How would you rate this product? Sometimes I wish this speaker mic had a Hi/Lo switch, but in reality it is plenty loud. I just wish I could turn it down sometimes. Otherwise this is a great speaker mic. Mine has several scuffs, from much abuse, but is no worse for the wear. In the past I had some problems with the cable of other speaker mics where they connect to the mic, so when I realized that this mic had a replaceable cable that was a huge selling point for me, but I have had mine almost two years and had no problems with the cable. That said the cable is now an even bigger selling point for me, as I like the idea of not needing to replace the cable even better than being able to replace it. If this speaker mic ever dies I might upgrade to the waterproof version with the Hi/Lo switch, but otherwise I would just buy this one again. (Posted on 4/22/2016)
