External Antenna Adapter Kit for KNG P Radios

WHAT IS IT?

The external antenna adapter kit is for KNG P Series portable radios to connect the radio to a roof mount antenna outside of a vehicle.  The kit includes the BK KAA0801 SMA to UHF Female Adapter, G8PI mag mount base and Sti-Co Flexible Whip Antenna.

Works with:

• Bendix King KNG-P and KNG-CMD Radios
• Bendix King KNG2-P and KNG2-CMD radios
• Midland STP series radios
• Radios with SMA Female Antenna Jacks

Why you need this:

When using your portable radio from within a vehicle, much of the RF signal is blocked by the enclosure of metal and glass.  This kit allows the radio to be connected to a roof mounted antenna on top of the vehicle for better transmit and receive sensitivity.  This creates clearer communications while operating a vehicle.
