Why You Need This:
No charger to recharge your battery? Use your AA alkaline battery clamsell. Legacy radio clamshells use 9 AA alkaline Batteries (Not Included). These are commonly used in wildland fire since since an external power sourse for charging is hard to find.

The piece that is being used along with the battery or clamshell is a LAA0145R otherwise known as a BK SNAP. The adapter is designed to take a male cigarette lighter plug and charge a cell phone from the radio battery. Unfortunately the BK Snap has been discontinued.
