PC Programming Cable LAA0725 - for RELM BK Legacy Radios

WHAT IS IT?

LAA0725 PC programming cable for all Bendix King legacy series radios.

WORKS WITH:

LPH, EPH, GPH, DPH or Command handheld radios and EMH, GMH and DMH mobile radios

WHY YOU NEED IT?

Computer programming is much faster than hand entering all the frequencies needed for each assignment.  The Legacy series programming cable comes with a DB9 serial port connector, most newer computers no longer have that port.  You may also want to consider having the LAA0701 programming plug to facilitate field programmability while on location via the keypad.

*Have a laptop or newer PC? You may need a USB (PRAD9RUSSE) adapter cable found in the accessories tab. This cable "adapts" the LAA0725 PC programming cable serial port connector to a cable with the USB end that you need to connect to your computer. Do not buy an adapter from Radio Shack or wherever, not all adapters work with this cable correctly.  This adapter comes with the driver which is important to let the computer know that the USB port is a COM port.
